WATSU
Water Shiatsu
 [<p align=ustify>]Literally WATSU is a massage given in water (Watsu derives from water, and shiatsu); but in the climatized tub it becomes more than that.
After a short breathing warm-up, one abandons oneself in the arms of Watsuer: being held by the specialist, while getting softly rocked, moved and pulled, the body is waved and caressed by the water.
Every movement which the coach makes is taken and amplified by the water: so it's easy for the mind to open to a larger and relaxed dimension, where the "you and I" of the patient and specialist no longer exists, but only the sense of floating in the water and of movement and energy.
Sometimes it is a regressive experience , that reminds life before before birth, when the amniotic liquid was all that we knew. Watsu is naturaly right for all those who have stiffness, body aches, blocked menstruations problems (and it is perfect for those who want to defeat the fear of water).
It is recommended to everybody, a unique experience of deep self-contact, helping even the those with relaxation and sexual problems. |
