 Authenticity is situated next to the sea, just 80 km south of Adelaide in Port Elliot, South Australia.
The Estate is set in a symmetrical botanical garden, filled with vineyards, olive trees, Morton Bay fig, almond and cypress trees, with rolling hills as a back drop.
The Manor was built in 1864. A seven bedroom bluestone mansion originally designed as an Englishman's country manor, now renovated with a Mediterranean style. Each bedroom has been decorated with different colour schemes, provincial antiques and reproductions. The bedrooms contain hand forged queen size beds. Each room is serviced with white towelling bathrobes and towels. Pure drinking water, Aveda shampoos and conditioners are also provided.
There is a large and comfortable lounge area fitted out with classic style sofas a library an antique upright piano and a fireplace for the cooler nights.
There is a smaller and comfortable area fitted out with once again with classic style sofa and specially commissioned oak furniture one of which houses a large TV and video player with a relevant selection of quality movies and documentaries. .
The main dining room with its sandstone floor, overlooks the central courtyard and it seats up to sixteen persons. Other areas for intimate or small group dining are also available.
The salt water pool area is pure Mediterranean magic. A heated spa is at one end. Beautiful wooden teak outdoor furniture embellish the surrounding area.
Other facilities include a steam room and gymnasium.
