ARASHA RAINFOREST RESORT & SPA - Quito - Equador
 The Arasha Rainforest Resort and Spa opened in 2002 and has quickly proven itself to be the best option for clients looking to visit the rain forest while maintaining a high level of accommodation and service. Located two-hours away by paved road from Quito, Arasha is situated in the middle of the rain forest surrounded by lush vegetation, tropical fruits, plants and trees, flowers, birds, and local fauna. Two rivers cross the property, which makes swimming an easy option. The average temperature is 76°F or 23°C.
The property offers a spa, excellent restaurants, a large swimming pool, and a large whirlpool bath inside a cave. Occasionally there are live shows and folklore performances in the auditorium.
SPA
The spa is one of the most popular attractions at the resort. There is no better way to relax and rejuvenate than to enjoy one or more of the many treatments offered at the spa. Trained professionals offer the following treatments:
Body Massage with Aromatherapy
Swiss and Thai technology combined with finger puncture.
Moisturizing Sandalwood Treatment
Includes cleansing, concentrated moisturizers, compresses, soft exfoliation, masks, moisturizer, and massage.
Citric Moisturizing Treatment
The same as above, but it is specifically for cleaning backs with visible pores.
Aromatherapy Detoxifying Wrap
It consists of hot compresses with concentrated moisturizers, a body massage with hot oils (diuretic essential oils), and thermal wrap for 15 minutes.
Body Exfoliation with OPC
It consists of hot compresses followed by the application of an exfoliating gel and body mask with OPC. The treatment finishes with a thermal wrap.
Exfoliation
Removes dead skin cells from the body.
OPC
Antioxidants or vitamins highly concentrated for easy skin penetration that provides a barrier against harmful free radicals of cells.
Foot Massage with Reflexology Techniques
Stimulates the pressure points corresponding to the different body organs, through which the guest can relax his/her whole body.
Anti-Cellulite Toning Massage
The pressure for this massage is stronger and uses essential oils. WE recommend at least three treatments of this particular massage to see results, however treatment should be continued at home also, to achieve maximum benefits.
Back Massage
It consists of Swiss technology combined with finger puncture and caring for the hands and feet with aromatherapy. A new concept that includes cleansing, compresses, exfoliation, mask, and massage.
Hair Revitalizer
Intensive treatment with regenerating essential oils, head massage, and pressure points on the face. The spa uses botanical shampoos and conditioners.
Touch of Heaven
Jacuzzi with mineral salts which can be lavender, rosemary, lemon, and ilang ilang. The next step is an aromatherapy wrap during which a facial to suit skin type and a body massage for lymphatic drainage.
Walk to Serenity
It consists of a Jacuzzi with mineral salts or a Turkish bath with essential Oils and a complete facial. During the first facial mask, our guest receives a reflexology massage for the hands with rose or lavender cream. During the second mask, a reflexology for the feet. Pressure points for the face massage achieve maximum relaxation.
Perfect Father
As well as hydrotherapy, treatment for the feet, and complete aromatherapy wrap.
Present from Arasha Rain Forest
This consists of hydrotherapy, compresses, body exfoliation, and a mask. Throughout this treatment we use the Travel Blend, a mixture of special oils.
Weight Control Program
This program is addressed to loose excess weight in the most pleasant environment of the resort, enjoying all its activities, hikes, swimming, spa, dancing, singing along with Karaoke, or watching excellent movies which no doubt contribute to enhance treatment success.
Under the supervision of a MD, who checks the overall health of each person taking the treatment, he recommends diet, exercise, and lab tests, when necessary.
